A stately chateau built in the 17th century in the countryside of Dijon, France, was once the setting for lavish dinners and lively entertaining. Rescued from the generous butler's pantry of this now-shuttered estate, we are proud to offer a limited collection of lovely French china. The sumptuous pattern presented here is called "Bella" and was produced in France by the venerable Longchamp china company in the 1920s. The lavish botanical transferware decoration is exuberent and handsome. The cream colored stoneware body has a gently scalloped edge and the decoration is rendered in a muted slate grey.
Measures 10" in diameter. Strictly limited quantities and subject to prior sale. Dishwasher safe, but handwashing is always recommended to preserve the finish of vintage pieces. In excellent vintage condition.
