It was love at first sight at the flea market in Liege, Belgium.  A case of unused Linen Teatowels in an elegant damask herringbone weave.  It's the kind of thing we get excited about when we find one or two, but here was a whole box full! 

Natural, unbleached linen with a quartet of very thin blue-grey stripes at both ends.  The fine weave of the virtually lint-free linen make these towels ideal for drying dishes & glassware.  Of a quality that is rare at any price today, they will dry more dishes than you care to think about!
